MindSpark is a mobile-first mental wellness app that empowers users to manage emotional wellbeing with ease. The goal was to design a friendly, non-intimidating interface that builds trust while offering structured guidance for mental self-care.
From meditation to journaling and guided therapy tools, MindSpark needed to feel personal, private, and inviting — especially for first-time users seeking mental health support online.
A vibrant, scroll-driven creative agency site designed to reflect bold ideas, playful interactions, and a strong design identity through layered visuals and kinetic typography.
Role & Responsibilities
As the Product Designer, I focused on both emotional impact and usability. The design aimed to create a supportive digital space that doesn’t overwhelm or distract.
Here’s what I handled:
User Research & Persona Mapping
Interviewed users and developed empathy maps to shape feature decisions and tone.
UX Flows & Wireframes
Mapped journeys across key tasks like mood logging, session booking, and habit tracking.
UI Design
Crafted a soft visual language using muted tones, rounded UI elements, and minimal distractions.
Micro-interactions
Added subtle motion to guide users and reduce interface fatigue.
Prototype & Handoff
Built an interactive prototype and coordinated with developers for pixel-accurate implementation.
The Challenge
Mental health tools often feel cold or overly clinical. MindSpark needed a soft, human-first experience.
Creating emotional safety through design
Maintaining simplicity without sacrificing depth
Encouraging regular use without gamification
Designing for accessibility and screen fatigue
Final Outcome
MindSpark launched to a pilot group with high engagement and positive feedback, especially from first-time therapy users.
What I Delivered:
A calming, mobile-first interface tested with real users
Accessible color palette and font choices
Emotional tone and layout system designed to reduce anxiety
Complete design system and dev-ready prototype
